Faizul Ali v. The State of Assam

ORDER

18.03.2024 Heard Mr. R. Chetri, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. P.S. Lahkar, the learned Additional P.P. for the State of Assam. This is an application under Section 438 of the Cr.P.C. in respect of Page No.# 2/2 Bharalumukh P.S. Case No.16/2024 under Section 380 of the Indian Penal Code. On 18.01.2024 at night, 3 bags of jorda and 10 bags of seikhar were stolen from the premises of the informant. The present petitioner, Mr. Faizul Ali was granted interim bail by this Court. He gave a statement before the police stating that he was involved in commission of the said offence. Therefore, the interim bail granted to the petitioner is vacated. The bail application of the petitioner is also dismissed. CD shall be returned.
