The case is put up before the National Lok Adalat. The Insurance Company is represented by its officials. The claimant is duly present along with engaged counsel. It is submitted that the earlier awarded amount was Rs. 6,09,299/- (Rupees six lakhs nine thousand two hundred ninety-nine) only and after negotiation, both the parties are agreed to settle the matter on an amount of Rs. 6,35,000/- (Rupees six lakhs thirty-five thousand) only as full and final settlement. Accordingly, the appellant/ New India Assurance Company Ltd. is hereby directed to deposit an amount of Rs. 6,35,000/- (Rupees six lakhs thirty-five thousand) only before the Court of learned Commissioner, for Employee's Compensation, Golaghat within a period of 1 (one) month from today and the claimant will be at liberty to withdraw the same on being proper verification and identification by the concerned counsel of the case.
