25.06.2024. None appears for the petitioner on call. Mr. A. Phukan, learned standing counsel for the Elementary Education Department is present. It is noticed that on 10.03.2023, the learned standing counsel for the Elementary Education Department informed that the name of the present petitioner is found in the screening list under Sivasagar District and the petitioner being trained has been accommodated under the category of teacher and that the appointment letter has been issued to the petitioner and she has reportedly joined in her service. In view of the above, the learned counsel for the petitioner has sought for time to obtain instruction and was granted time. However, today none appears for the petitioner on call. Considering the above position that the petitioner has been accommodated in the category of teacher and has joined in her service, I am of the view that no Page No.# 3/3 issue appears to be survived for determination, in this proceeding and has become infructuous. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed.
