Rezia Begum v. The State of Assam and 6 Ors

ORDER

07.03.2024 Ms. U. Nanda, learned counsel for the applicant submits that in the judgment and order dated 18.11.2023 passed in WP(C) No.6030/2023, the address of the respondent No.6 should be 'Goalpara' instead of 'Dhubri'. Further, the name of the respondent No.7 was wrongly spelt as "Jorgina Begum" instead Page No.# 2/2 of "Jorjina Begum". She further submits that as an amendment of the cause title to the writ petition would have to be made, she prays that she may be allowed to withdraw the present application and file a proper application for correction of the cause title and consequential correction in the judgment and order.

¶2Ms. U. Das, learned counsel appearing for the respondent Nos. 1 to 6 submits that she has got no objection to prayer made by the applicant's counsel.

¶3Accordingly, the application is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for.
