¶1Heard Mr. G. Uddin, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. K. Gogoi, learned Government Advocate, Assam representing all the respondents.

¶2The matter pertains to a missing girl was allegedly trafficked sometime in the year 2016. An FIR was lodged based on which Tamulpur Police Station Case No. 221/2016 was registered under Section 366(A) of the IPC.

¶3The main accused was also arrested. Notwithstanding the same, the missing girl was not traced out till the filing of the writ petition. Accordingly, the present writ petition was filed.

¶4It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that during the pendency of this writ petition, the victim has been recovered by the police and she has also been handed over to her family.

¶5Mr. Gogoi, learned Government Advocate, on instruction from the concerned I.O., also submits that the missing girl was recovered and she has been handed over to her family.

¶6In view of the aforesaid, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that nothing survives in this writ petition to be adjudicated.

¶7Accordingly, the present writ petition stands closed. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
