By this application under Section 438 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, the petitioner, namely, Sri Pradip Deka has approached this Court seeking the benefit of Page No.# 2/2 pre-arrest bail, apprehending his arrest, in connection with Tinsukia Police Station Case No. 542/2023 registered under Sections 120B/406/420/468/471 of IPC. The basic allegation alleged in the FIR is forgery of certain documents. This Court vide order dated 01.03.2024 has granted interim protection to the petitioner while calling for case diary. The case diary is received. Perused the same. From the material available on record, it is seen that the petitioner has fully cooperated with the investigation and his statement was also recorded.
