Heard Mr. P. Gohain, learned counsel for the applicant/petitioner. This is an application seeking impleadment of three officers, namely,

1.Narayan Konwar, Secretary to the Government of Assam, Department of School Education, 2. Jayant Narlikar, Commissioner and Secretary to the Government of Assam, Finance Department and 3. Prabhat Das, Inspector of Schools, Nagaon District Circle as Respondent Nos.5, 6 & 7 respectively in the connected Cont. Case(C) No. 488/2023. Having considered the submissions of the learned counsel for the applicant, I am of the view that the three officers mentioned herein above are necessary parties in the connected Cont. Case(C) No. 488/2023. Accordingly, the following officers, namely, 1.Narayan Konwar, Secretary to the Government of Assam, Department of School Education, 2. Jayant Narlikar, Commissioner and Secretary to the Government of Assam, Finance Department and 3. Prabhat Das, Inspector of Schools, Nagaon District Circle are permitted to be impleaded as Respondent Nos.5, 6 & 7 respectively in the connected Cont. Case(C) No. 488/2023. Accordingly, this interlocutory application stands allowed and disposed of.
