This is an application under Order XLI Rule V of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 praying for stay of the operation of the impugned judgment and award dated 10.01.2024 passed by the learned Member, MACT No. 2, Kamrup(M), Assam in MAC Case no. 1260/2020. Since the connected appeal has already been admitted for hearing, the operation of the impugned judgment and award dated 10.01.2024 passed by the learned Member, MACT No. 2, Kamrup (M), Assam in MAC Case no. 1260/2020 shall remain stayed on the condition that the applicant deposit 50 % of the total awarded amount before the Registry of this Court within a period of four weeks from today. Page No.# 3/3 On such deposit being made by the applicant, the respondent/claimant shall be allowed to withdraw the same on proper verification and identification by their learned counsel.
