ORDER Date : 22.07.2024 Heard Mr. S. Nag, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. D. Das, learned appears on behalf of the respondent. This is an application under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 praying of transfer of F.C.(Civil) Case No.1014 of 2023 from the Court of learned Principal Judge, Family Court No.1, Kamrup(M), at Guwahati to the Court of learned District Judge, Tinsukia. The respondent filed the suit before the Family Court praying for restitution of conjugal right, now the petitioner being the wife stays in her father's house at Tinsukia therefore, submits that it is difficult for her to come to Guwahati to contest the suit before the Family Court at Guwahati. I have considered the submissions made the learned counsel for both the sides, I find that the ground shown for transfer for the case from Guwahati to Tinsukia is not satisfactory. Apart from that the Family Court can dispose of the suit through Video Conferencing also. Therefore, the learned Principal Judge, Family Court No.1, Kamrup(M) is directed to dispose of the case through Video Conferencing. With the aforesaid direction, the transfer petition stands disposed of.
