Heard Mr. S.M. Mollah, learned counsel appearing for the applicant. Also heard Mr. B.B. Gogoi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. The present application has been filed by the applicant praying for extension of time for appearance before the investigating officer. Considering the ground as stated by the learned counsel for the applicant, this Court is hereby directed to the applicant to appear before the investigating officer within 7 days from today. Till such appearance, the pre-arrest bail granted to the applicant shall remain in force. If he fails to appear within time, the privilege of pre-arrest bail, granted earlier, shall automatically expire. With the above observation, the I/A stands disposed of.
