Heard Mr. A.M. Barbhuiya, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Mrs. S. Sharma, learned Standing Counsel, Health Department, Government of Assam, for respondent Nos.1, 2, 3, 6 and 8 and Mrs. M. Bhattacharjee, learned Additional Senior Government Advocate, Assam for respondents No.5 and 7.

¶2The petitioners No.1, 2, 3 and 5 were engaged as Security Guard at Dhubri Civil Hospital under the Hospital Management Society by an order dated

07.12.2021 after undergoing due selection process. The petitioner Nos.4 and 6 were engaged as Security Guard at Dhubri Civil Hospital under the Hospital Management Society by an order dated 22.07.2020 after undergoing due selection process. Thereafter, they joined their services and were continuing after being issued extension orders from time to time. Page No.# 4/4

¶3The case of the petitioners is that from December, 2022, the petitioners were verbally discharged from their services without assigning any reason. Accordingly, the petitioners made a representation dated 07.12.2022 before the Deputy Commissioner-cum-Chairman,

Dhubri

Civil

Hospital

Management Society/respondent No.5. A copy of the said representation was also forwarded to the Superintendent/Member Secretary to Dhubri Civil Hospital Management Society and to the Joint Director of Health Services, Dhubri. However, the said representation is yet to be considered and disposed of till date.

¶4Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.5 to consider and dispose of the representation dated 07.12.2022 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

¶5With the above observations and directions, this writ petition is disposed of.
