ORDER

04.12.2024 No one appears for the petitioner on call. Ms. U. Das, learned counsel for the respondents submits that the matter pertains to allotment of a licence to the petitioner under the Assam Public Distribution of Articles Order, 1982 on 06.02.2019, which had been extended from time to time till 13.03.2022. The grievance of the petitioner was that in spite of the licence being valid, no PDS quantity had been allotted by the authority. This Court has also noticed that no one had appeared for the petitioner on the last date also. As the petitioner is absent for the second time consecutively, this Court is of the view that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the matter. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed for non-prosecution. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
