22.04.2024 Heard Mr. P Bhardwaj, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. P Borthakur, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam. This is an application filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. praying for granting regular bail to the petitioners, Dhanmoni Boruah and Pabitra Mandal, who were arrested on

07.03.2024 in connection with Uluani PS case No. 15/2024 under Sections 147/ 148/ 149/ 336/ 326/ 325/ 427/ 354(B)/ 392/ 506 IPC. Mr. Bhardwaj, learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. The petitioner is behind the bar since 07.03.2024. Considering the period of detention and the material so far collected, this Court is of the opinion that no further custodial interrogation/detention of the petitioner is required. Accordingly, the present application is allowed. It is directed that the applicants be released on bail on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) each with one solvent surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the learned SDJM, Kaliabor, Nagaon with the following conditions.

(1) The petitioners shall not hamper with the investigation, or tamper with the evidence of the case,

(2) The petitioners shall not, directly or indirectly, make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade them from disclosing such facts to the Court or to any police officer,
