Manmohan Das and Anr v. The State of Assam

ORDER Date : 29-05-2024 Heard Mr. M. Kalita, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. R. J. Baruah, learned Additional Public Prosecutor who produced the case diary of Simla P.S. Case No.13/2024 and has submitted that the petitioners have Page No.# 2/2 appeared before the Investigating Officer of the aforesaid case and their statements are recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure Code, 1973. It appears from the record that by order dated 18.03.2024, the petitioners, namely, (1) Sri Manmohan Das and (2) Sri Dulal Ch. Barman @ Dulal Barman were allowed to go on interim anticipatory bail with a condition that they shall appear before the Investigation Officer within ten days from the date of the said order and cooperate in the said investigation. As from the case diary, it appears that they have complied with the order dated 18.03.2024 passed by this court and have cooperated in the investigation, the interim bail granted to the above named petitioners by order dated

18.03.2024 is hereby made absolute. This anticipatory bail application is accordingly disposed of.
