¶2This is an application under Section 439 of the CrPC in respect of Bilasipara P.S. Case No.63/2024 under Section 13/14 of the Assam Game and Betting Act.

¶3On 14.03.2024, the petitioners were found gambling. Some amount of cash/money was also recovered from them. It is alleged in the FIR that the acts of the petitioners was detrimental to the future of the new generation.

¶4Both the petitioners have spent about 11 days in custody.

¶5This Court is of the opinion that the petitioners do not deserve to be detained in custody for any further period of time. Their bail application is allowed.

¶6The petitioners, namely- (1) Abdul Kader @ Abdul Kader Jilani and (2) Sontesh Ali is allowed to go on bail of ₹10,000/- each with sureties of like amount to the satisfaction of the leaned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dhubri. The Bail Application is disposed of.
