ORDER 02-02-2024 Heard Mr. P. J. Saikia, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. G. Bokalial, learned State Counsel for all the respondents. The case of the petitioner is that after being awarded a number of work orders by the respondent authorities during the period from 2015-19, the petitioner supplies all the materials in conformity with those work orders and submitted the final bills amounting to Rs.10,23,729.75/-. However, the respondent authorities have not released the pending bills of the petitioner till date. Mr. Bokalial, the learned State Counsel for the respondents submits that the affidavit of the respondent no. 3 in paragraph 7 has admitted that the pending bills of the petitioner are Rs.9,03,731/- and not Rs.10,23,729.75/-. On hearing the learned counsels for the parties and on perusal of the affidavit-in-opposition filed by the respondent no. 3, it is seen that the respondents have admitted their outstanding liability of Rs.9,03,731/- against the petitioner. As the respondents have admitted their liability amount of Rs.9,03,731/- towards the petitioner, the respondents are directed to pay the said amount of Rs.9,03,731/- to the petitioner, within a period of 2 (two) months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. Writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
