Heard Mr. N. Sarkar, learned counsel for the petitioner. In this writ petition it is projected that on 11.03.2024, the respondent authorities had tried to requisition the private vehicle of the petitioner. Mr. G. Bokalial, learned Govt. Advocate, on receipt of instructions, has submitted that as per his instructions, neither the office of the Superintendent of Police, Reserve, North Lakhimpur nor the office of the District Commissioner, Lakhimpur has made any such attempt to requisition the vehicle of the petitioner on 11.03.2024. The petitioner is the owner of the private vehicle namely, Dzire VXI bearing Page No.# 3/3 no.AS-07Y9710. As the learned Govt. Advocate, upon instructions of the two authorities referred above, has submitted that the said authorities have not made any attempt to requisition the vehicle of the petitioner, this writ petition stands closed by granting liberty to the petitioner to approach the Court as and when the vehicle is requisitioned. Accordingly, this writ petition stands closed with liberty as indicated above.
