ORDER Date : 04-12-2024 Heard Mr. H.R. Choudhury, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. K. Gogoi, learned counsel appearing for all the respondents. This petition has been filed by the President and Secretary of the Managing Committee of 118 No. Batarashi-III, Anganwadi Centre under North Karimganj, ICDS Project in the district of Karimganj. The grievance raised by the petitioner is for a direction to the respondent authorities to approve and allow the committee to release the funds for the 118 No. Batarashi-III Anganwadi Centre and allow the petitioners to withdraw the fund to meet up the expenses of the centre. The respondents by filing their affidavit has categorically stated that the fund for 118 No. Batarashi-III Anganwadi Centre and the Management Committee, which was constituted vide resolution dated 09.08.2021, has already been approved by the concerned authority, North Karimganj and the central funds have already been released and are being drawn for the smooth functioning of the said Anganwadi Centre. Having considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for both parties and the statement by the respondents in their affidavit, it appears that the grievance raised by the petitioners has duly been redressed. Thus, no issue is left to be decided in this proceedings. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed and disposed of.
