Nasiran Khatun @ Nasiron Bibi v. The State of Assam and 4 Ors

Baruah, learned counsel for the respondent no.2 and Ms. RS Choudhury, learned standing counsel for the respondent no.3 are present. It is noted that Mr. M. Hussain, learned counsel for the petitioner was also holding the brief for one Abdul Mannan, the father-in-law of the petitioner and at his instance this Court had passed an order dated 03.04.2019 in WP(C) 1547/2019, thereby issuing direction for payment of victim compensation to the said Abdul Mannan. Therefore, on the prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, Page No.# 3/3 he is permitted to withdraw this petition with liberty being granted to the petitioner to approach again, if so advised. This petition stands dismissed on withdrawl.
