ORDER The case is put up before the National Lok Adalat. The Insurance Company is represented by its officials. The claimant is duly present along with engaged counsel. It is submitted that the earlier awarded amount was Rs. 76,862/- (Rupees seventy-six thousand eight hundred sixty-two) only which has already been deposited by the insurance company and after negotiation both the parties are agreed to settle the matter on an additional amount of Rs. 4,40,000/- (Rupees four lakhs fourty thousand) only as full and final settlement. Accordingly, the respondent/New India Assurance Company Ltd. is hereby directed to deposit the additional amount of Rs. 4,40,000/- (Rupees four lakhs fourty thousand) only before the learned MACT, Tezpur, within a period of 1 (one) month from today and the claimant will be at liberty to withdraw the same, along with the earlier deposited amount of Rs. 76,862/- (Rupees seventy-six thousand eight hundred sixty-two) only, if not already withdrawn, on being proper identification of the claimant's bank details, Aadhar Card, Pan Card etc. Page No.# 3/3 Registry shall return the statutory deposited amount, if any, to the said Insurance Company. The appeal stands disposed of in terms above.
