06.03.2024 Heard Mr. P.J. Saikia, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. R. Dhar, learned Standing Counsel, PWD. This writ petition has been filed putting to challenge the suspension order dated 18.01.2024 by which the petitioner is placed under suspension as well as for release of subsistence allowance and to consider and pass effective orders on the representation/the appeal filed by the petitioner under the Assam Discipline and Appeal Rules. The learned counsel for the parties have submitted that pursuant to the disciplinary proceedings initiated, petitioner has been dismissed from service w.e.f. 17.01.2024 by order dated 18.01.2024. This dismissal order is put to challenge in W.P.(C) No. 409/2024. It is further submitted that the subsistence allowance and other dues payable to the petitioner, during the period of his suspension, has already been released. Therefore, no further cause remains to be pursued and the same is accordingly dismissed. Interim order if any stands vacated. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
