This writ appeal has been filed by the appellant being aggrieved by the interim order dated 15.03.2024, whereby, the learned Single Judge while entertaining the WP(C) No. 1516/2024, directed the State respondents not to issue license to the appellant pursuant to the NIB dated 14.11.2023, till the next returnable date.

While entertaining the present writ appeal, this Court has stayed the effect and operation of the order dated 15.03.2024, passed by the learned Single Judge while taking note of the fact that before passing of the interim order dated 15.03.2024, the said license was already granted in favor of the appellant.

Since the matter regarding allotment of Liquor Shop in favor of the appellant is pending consideration before the learned Single Judge in the WP(C) No. 1516/2024, we deem it appropriate to dispose of this writ appeal while directing that the State respondents to allow the appellant to operate the Liquor Shop in question, till the final decision of the WP(C) No. 1516/2024.

It is made clear that the question regarding the allotment of Liquor Shop to the appellant will remain subject to the final decision passed by the learned Single Judge. Page No.# 4/4

With the above observations, this writ appeal stands disposed of.
