M/S Sonapur Tea Company Pvt Ltd v. Ajay Kumar and 3 Ors

ORDER Date : 04-03-2024 Heard the learned counsel for the parties. This court under its order dated 03.01.2019 passed in WP(C) No.2718/2009 issued certain directions as regards payment of unpaid land acquisition compensation. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the respondents at the bar that the order has been complied with. The learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that though money has been sanctioned and transferred to the account of the Deputy Commissioner, the Deputy Commissioner has issued an order dated 29.02.2024 asking the petitioners to appear before him with certain documents for payment of such compensation. In view of the above the contempt petition stands closed.
