ORDER

31.08.2024 Mr. H. P. Neog, learned counsel for the petitioner is present. Mr. R. K. D. Choudhury, learned Dy. SGI appearing for the sole respondent has produced a copy of the salary slip of the petitioner for the month of December, 2023 to submit that in compliance of the order of this Court, 50% back wages Page No.# 2/2 have been paid to the petitioner and the amount has also been deposited in his bank account. Although Mr. Neog submits that he is not in receipt of any such communication from his client, yet, having perused the copy of the statement produced by the learned counsel for the respondents, this Court is convinced that the order of the Court has been complied with. As such, by retaining a copy of the statement in the record of this case, this Contempt Case stands closed. However, the petitioner would be at liberty to approach this Court once again if any discrepancy is found in the matter and the true facts turn out to be contrary to the submission made by the learned counsel for the respondent, in which event, necessary consequences under the law will follow.
