Heard Mr. S. Hazarika, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. G. Boklial, learned standing counsel for the Co-Operation Department. By filing this Writ Petition, the petitioner has prayed for a direction to the respondent authorities to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Lower Division Assistant, considering his seniority and work experience. When the matter is taken up today, Mr. G. Boklial, learned standing counsel for the Co-Operation Department submits that the case of the petitioner along with other eligible candidates would be considered, for which the DPC has been convened on 07.09.2024. Considering the above, the present Writ Petition stands closed. Needless to observe that the respondent authority shall consider the case of the petitioner along with the other similarly situated candidates, in accordance with law.
