Heard Mr. A.R. Das, the learned counsel appearing for the applicants. Also heard Mr. M. Talukdar, learned counsel representing Respondent No.1 Shabib Mazumder. Since the connected appeal has been admitted for hearing, the judgment and award dated 27.03.2017 passed by the learned MACT, Cachar, Silchar in MAC Case No.267/2009 shall remain stayed till disposal of the appeal subject to deposit of 50% of the awarded amount with interest thereon in the Registry of this Court within next 6(six) weeks. Upon deposit of money, the claimant/ Respondent No.1 Shabib Mazumder shall be at liberty to withdraw the money from the Registry of this Court without any riders and on proper verification.
