Heard Mr. R. C. Paul, learned counsel for the applicant/appellant and Mr. K. U. Ahmend, learned counsel for the respondent/claimant. The impugned judgment and order dated 08.02.2022, passed by the learned Commissioner, Employee's Compensation, Nagaon, in NEC Case No. 16/2019, is stayed subject to deposit of Rs. 4,50,000/- of the awarded amount by the appellant before the Registry within four weeks from today. On such deposit being made by the appellant, the respondent/claimant shall be allowed to withdraw the amount on proper verification and identification by her counsel to the satisfaction of the Register General's office. With the aforesaid direction, this I.A. stands allowed and disposed of.
