Heard Dr. R. Sarmah, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. S. Dutta, learned Senior counsel assisted by Ms. S. Mochahari, learned counsel for the respondent Nos. 1 and 2/ Assam Gramin Vikash Bank.

¶2By this writ petition, the petitioner is challenging the Transfer Order No.01/2022-23 dated 18.04.2022 by which the petitioner has been transferred Page No.# 2/2 from Fakiragram to Silchar.

¶3This Court on 09.05.2022 had stayed the order dated 18.04.2022 in so far as it relates to the petitioner. On the strength of the interim order dated

09.05.2022, the petitioner has been serving as Branch Head at the Fakiragram Branch and is continuing till date. It is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that in terms of the transfer policy of Assam Gramin Vikash Bank, the officers are to be transferred every three years. However, as the petitioner had completed only one year in Fakiragram Branch at Kokrajhar, the same is not tenable.

¶4After hearing the learned counsel for the parties and on consideration of the materials available on record, this Court has noticed that the petitioner is about to complete three years in Fakiragram Branch at Kokrajhar on the strength of the interim order dated 09.05.2022 passed by this Court. As per the transfer policy of the Assam Gramin Vikash Bank, petitioner is due for transfer on completion of three years. As the petitioner is going to complete three years in Fakiragram Branch at Kokrajhar on 02.04.2024, this Court does not find any reason to keep this writ petition pending any more.

Accordingly, this Writ petition is closed. Interim order passed earlier shall stands vacated.
