Heard Mr. K. R. Patgiri, learned counsel for the petitioner. The present contempt petition is filed alleging willful and deliberate violation of the order dated 24.11.2021 passed in WP(C) No. 5665/2021 by this Court. By the aforesaid order, a direction was issued to the Commissioner, Lower Assam Division, Pan Bazar to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 11.11.2020, within a period of 3 (three) months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of that order. Mr. R. Borpujari, learned Standing Counsel for the Revenue Department representing the respondent submits that by a Gazette Notification dated 05.02.2024, the appellate power has been conferred upon the Director of Land Records and Survey, Assam. At this stage, Mr. Patgiri, learned counsel for the petitioner on instruction from his client submits that the Director of Land Records and Survey, Assam has fixed the matter tomorrow i.e. on 26.09.2024 for hearing. In view of the aforesaid facts, this contempt petition stands closed. It is needless to say that the appellate authority shall complete the procedure as per direction of this Court passed in WP(C) No. 5665/2021 under its order dated

24.11.2021 within a period of three months from tomorrow i.e. 26.09.2024.
