None appears for the petitioner on call. Heard Mr. R.J. Baruah, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. By this petition filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Page No.# 2/2 Sanhita, 2023, the petitioner, namely, Jamat Ali, has prayed for granting pre-arrest bail, apprehending arrest in connection with Basistha P.S. Case No. 280/2024, under Section 379 IPC r/w Section 11(1)(d) of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 and r/w Section 13(1)/16 of Assam Cattle Preservation Act, 2021. Mr. Baruah, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that in this case, charge-sheet has already been submitted vide C.S. No. 326/24 dated

26.06.2024. It is also submitted that interim protection has already been granted to the petitioner by this Court vide order dated 15.05.2024. In view of above, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to appear before the learned court below within 15 days from today and if any bail application is filed, the same will be considered by the learned trial court in accordance with law. Till such appearance, the interim protection granted to the petitioner shall remain in force.
