¶2The petitioner has filed this application with a prayer for bail as he was forwarded to custody in connection with G.R. Case No. 4577/2014 under Section 324 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (IPC for short) as the conviction of 1 (One) year has been upheld by the learned Sessions Judge, Dhubri in Criminal Appeal No. 15/2019. The applicant has thus prayed for bail as he is behind bars since

07.01.2024.

¶3Heard Ms. A. Begum, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the respondent State.

¶4I have considered the submissions at the bar.

¶5The applicant's prayer for bail is allowed. The applicant is to be enlarged on bail on furnishing a bail bond of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand) with a suitable surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dhubri.

¶6In the above terms, this Interlocutory Application stands disposed of.
