Abul Bashar Md Sadiqul Alom v. The State of Assam and 4 Ors

ORDER Date : 12-02-2024 Heard Mr. A.K. Talukdar learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. C.S Hazarika learned counsel for the respondent Nos.1 and 4 and Mr. J Handique learned counsel for the respondent Nos.2 and 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the direction issued under its order dated 17.12.2021 in Writ Appeal No.301/2021, the respondent authorities has initiated selection process and completed the selection process though, no appointment order has been issued. In view of the aforesaid, the learned counsel for the parties submit that writ petition has become infructous. Accordingly the present writ petition is closed being infructous, however, the petitioner shall be at liberty to approach this court in the event he is aggrieved by any decision made pursuant to the selection process.
