This is an application under Section 439 Cr.P.C. filed by the petitioner, Kaifuddin Ahmed, praying for granting him bail in connection with Bhuragaon PS case No. 36/2024 under Section 365/368/376/34 IPC read with Section 4 of the POCSO Act. The petitioner was arrested on 17.04.2024. It is submitted by Mr. B Sarma, learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instruction from the investigating officer that charge-sheet has already been filed being C.S. No. 44/2024 dated 29.05.2024 in connection with the Bhuragaon PS case No. 36/2024. In that view of the matter, the present bail application stands closed with a liberty to the petitioner to approach the learned court below seeking regular bail.
