17.05.2024 Heard Mr. H.R. Ahmed, learned counsel for the applicant and Mr. B.B. Gogoi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam, appearing for the State respondent. This interlocutor application is preferred by the applicant for according him Page No.# 2/2 permission to implead the informant as respondent No.2 in the Bail Appln. No.1379/2024. It is submitted at the bar that the Gauripur P.S. Case No.81/2024 registered under Section 365 read with Section 376(3) IPC, read with Section 4 of the POCSO Act, in which pre-arrest bail application is being sought for, the informant is required to be impleaded as respondent No.2. It is to be noted here that in view of Notification No.17, dated

15.03.2024, the informant/victim has to be impleaded as respondent No.2. In view of above, this Court is inclined to allow this I.A. The informant of the Gauripur P.S. Case No.81/2024 registered under Section 365 read with Section 376(3) IPC, read with Section 4 of the POCSO Act be impleaded as respondent No.2 in Bail Appln. No.1379/2024.
