19.06.2024 Heard Shri L.R. Mazumdar, learned counsel for the applicants as well as Shri T.R. Gogoi, learned State Counsel.

¶2By the present application, the applicants have prayed for correction of certain errors in the cause-title appearing in the judgment and order dated

10.05.2024 passed in a bunch of the writ petitions including WP(C)/5535/2022. Amongst the prayer made by the learned counsel which can be considered, the Page No.# 3/4 first prayer is with regard to name and address of the petitioner no. 4. It is submitted that in the cause-title, the following was stated:

¶4SAHIDUL ISLAM LASKAR SON OF MOIN UDDIN LASKAR RESIDENT OF VILL – RONGPUR PART-IV TARAPUR SHIBBARI ROAD P.S. SILCHAR DISTRICT-CACHAR ASSAM

¶3It is clarified that the name of the petitioner no. 4 in the said WP(C)/5535/2022 should be Sahidul Alom Laskar, son of Moin Uddin Laskar and is a resident of Vill.-Berenga Part-V, P.O.-Bethukandi, P.S.-Silchar, District-Cachar, Assam.

¶4Similarly, for the petitioner no. 7 was written as-

¶7ABDUL HUSSAIN MAZUMDER SON OF LT. ELIAS ALI RESIDENT OF VILL – DURGAPUR P.S. BARKHOLA DISTRICT-CACHAR ASSAM

¶5It is submitted that the correct name and address would be Abul Hussain Mazumder, son of Late Elias Ali Mazumder, resident of Vill.- Durgapur, P.S.- Barkhola, District-Cachar, Assam.

¶6The learned counsel has submitted that the error was inadvertent one which has crept in the writ petition during the presentation. He has also submitted that the connected documents were already filed with the writ Page No.# 4/4 petition.

¶7Shri TR Gogoi, learned State Counsel submits that he would not have serious objection in principle on the prayers made above.

¶8Considering that the error pointed out while presenting the petition and which eventually was a part of the connected order dated 10.05.2024, this Court, in the interest of justice, allows this I.A. by observing that the correct names and addresses of the petitioner nos. 4 and 7 as reflected above are to be taken into consideration.

¶9Let this order be read as part of the order dated 10.05.2024 passed in the bunch of the writ petitions including WP(C)/5535/2022.
