¶1Heard Mr. M. Hussain, learned counsel for the applicant. Also heard Mr. H. Buragohain, learned counsel for the respondent/Insurance Company.

¶2This interlocutory application has been filed by the applicant praying for directing the appellant/opposite party to deposit at least 50% of the awarded Page No.# 2/2 amount before the Registry during the pendency of the connected MAC Appeal i.e., MAC Appeal No. 532/2019.

¶3The learned counsel for the respondent has raised no objection to the same.

¶4Hence, this interlocutory application is disposed of with a direction to the opposite party/Insurance Company to deposit 50% of the awarded amount which was directed to be paid by the Insurance Company by judgment, which is impugned in the connected MAC Appeal, i.e., judgment dated 24.04.2019 passed in MAC Case No. 217/2017 by the learned Member, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Barpeta. The said amount is directed to be deposited within four weeks from the date of this order.

¶5This interlocutory application is accordingly disposed of.
