Heard Mr. P. Mahanta, learned Senior counsel assisted by Ms. C. Sarma, learned counsel for the applicant, Ms. J. Barman, learned counsel for the respondent No.3 as well as Mr. S. Dutta, learned counsel for respondent No.4. The present application has been filed under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, 1963 for condoning the delay of 6 days in filing the connected Appeal against the judgment and order dated 31.12.2022, passed by the learned MACT, Nagaon in MAC Case No. 338/2015. Page No.# 3/3 The grounds of delay have been explained in paragraph Nos. 3, 4, 5 and 6 of the application. This Court, on perusal of the application, is satisfied that the applicant has satisfactorily explained the delay of 6 days. The delay of 6 days is, therefore, condoned. The application stands disposed. The Registry is directed to register the appeal.
