Heard Mr.D. Borah, learned counsel for the applicant/opposite party No.1. This is an application for impleadment of necessary parties. It is submitted that during the pendency of the connected Contempt Petition, the opposite party No. 1, the new incumbent has been inducted as Page No.# 2/2 Secretary to the Government of Assam, department of School Education Assam. He needs to be impleaded in the connected Contempt Petition as respondent No.9. The petitioner has already informed the new incumbent Secretary, Department of School Education, Assam and he is aware of the direction passed by this Hon'ble Court order. However, no action has been taken. Hence, prays for impleading him as respondent No.9. The prayer is allowed. Let the opposite party No.1 Sri Narayan Konwar, IAS Secretary to the Government of Assam, Department of School Education, Assam. Dispur, Guwahati be impleaded as respondent No.9 to the connected Contempt Petition. The petitioner shall file the amended cause-title impleading Shri Narayan Konwar, IAS as resopondent No.9.
