ORDER Date : 03.01.2024 Heard Mr. A. Kabra, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. O. Laskar, learned counsel for the respondent.

¶2By this application under section 24 CPC, read with Section 151 CPC, the petitioner is seeking transfer of Title Suit (Divorce) Case No. 02/2023 from the Court of learned District Judge, Karimganj to the Court of learned Principal Judge, Family Court at Guwahati.

¶3Upon instruction, the learned counsel for the respondent has submitted that he has no objection to the transfer of the proceedings.

¶4On such submission being made, this petition stands allowed.

¶5Accordingly, the proceedings of Title Suit (Divorce) Case No. 02/2023 pending before the Court of learned District Judge, Karimganj is transferred to the Court of learned Principal Judge, Family Court No.1 at Guwahati.

¶6As both sides are duly represented, they would appear before the learned transferee Court on 02.02.2024.

¶7In the meanwhile, the learned counsel for the petitioner shall produce a certified copy of this order before the Court of learned District Judge, Karimganj so as to enable the said learned Court to transfer the records of Title Suit (Divorce) Case No. 02/2023 to the Court of learned Principal Judge, Family Court No.1 at Guwahati.

¶8On receipt of such records, it would be permissible for the learned Page No.# 3/3 Principal Judge, Family Court No.1 at Guwahati to transfer the records to any of the three Family Courts at Guwahati in the presence of the parties on

02.02.2024 or any other subsequent date.

¶9This petition stands disposed of.
