Ritu Das and 4 Ors v. The State of Assam

¶1Heard Mr. S. K. Goswami, learned counsel for the petitioners who submits that by order dated 29.05.2024, the petitioners, namely, 1. Sri Ritu Das, 2. Sri Harkanta Das, 3. Smt. Achala Das, 4. Sri Prabin Das and 5. Sri Brajen Barman were allowed to go on interim bail, subject to certain conditions and in pursuant to the directions of this Court the petitioners have appeared before the Investigating Officer and have cooperated in the investigation.

¶2On the other hand, learned Additional Public Prosecutor has have submitted that in the meanwhile the charge-sheet has been laid vide Charge-sheet No. 58/2024 dated 24.05.2024.

¶3In view of the fact of laying of the charge-sheet as well as in view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the interim bail granted to the above named petitioners by order dated 29.05.2024 is hereby made Page No.# 3/3 absolute with conditions Nos. 1, 2 and 3 attached to the said order remaining intact.

¶4With the above observation, this anticipatory bail application is disposed of.
