07.06.2024 Heard learned counsel for both the parties. This is an application under Section 439 Cr.P.C. filed by the petitioner, namely, Ziaul Hoque Choudhury praying for granting him regular bail in connection with Karimganj PS case No. 282/2024 under Section 379/411 IPC read with Section 11 (1) Page No.# 2/2

(d) of Prevention of Cruelty of Animal Act, 1960 read with Section 13 (1) of the Assam Cattle Prevention Act, 1921. It is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that charge-sheet has already been filed being C.S. No. 218/2024 dated 31.05.2024 in connection with Karimganj PS case No. 282/2024 under Section 379/411 IPC read with Section 11 (1)

(d) of Prevention of Cruelty of Animal Act, 1960 read with Section 13 (1) of the Assam Cattle Prevention Act, 1921. In that view of the matter, the present bail application stands disposed of by giving liberty to the applicant to file appropriate application seeking bail before the learned court below. In the event of such application is filed, the same be considered as per law.
