Mr. S. Bikash, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the instant writ petition was filed seeking appropriate direction from this Court for expeditious disposal of the petitioner's application for issuance of the myadi patta. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the notice being issued in the instant writ petition, the Additional District Commissioner, Kamrup

(M) is taking up the matter earnestly, and as such, the petitioner would not like to proceed with the writ petition.

¶2Taking into account the above, the instant writ petition stands closed on withdrawal.

¶3This Court before parting with the record observes that as the Additional District Commissioner, Kamrup (M) is taking up the matter, the said authority shall dispose of the said application of the petitioner as Page No.# 3/3 expeditiously as possible.
