25.10.2024 Heard Mr. R. Sarma, learned counsel for the applicant. Also heard Ms. M. Bora, learned Standing Counsel, P & RD Department appearing for the respondent Nos.1, 2, 3 and 6. Mr. C. S. Hazarika, learned Govt. Advocate, Assam is present for the respondent Nos.4 and 5. None has appeared for the respondent No.7. This I.A. has been filed with a prayer to amend the prayer portion in the connected writ petition on the grounds stated therein. The learned counsel for the respondents submit that they would have no objection if the prayer for amendment, in the manner indicated in the I.A., is granted by this Court. Having regard to the stand of the respondents and considering the ground on which the prayer is made, the same stands allowed. The writ petitioner/applicant is permitted to amend the writ petition in terms of the projection made in the I.A. The amended writ petition be brought on record within two weeks from today. I.A. stands disposed of.
