Mofiz Ali v. The State of Assam

10.06.2024 Heard Mr. P Dutta, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. B Sarma, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam. This is an application under Section 439 Cr.P.C. filed by the petitioner, Mofiz Ali, praying for granting him bail in connection with Satgaon PS case No. 80/2024 Page No.# 2/2 (Corresponding to GR case No. 2940/2024) under Sections 379/411 IPC. It is submitted by Mr. B Sarma, learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instruction from the investigating officer that charge-sheet has already been filed being C.S. No. 54/2024 dated 27.05.2024 in connection with the Satgaon PS case No. 80/2024. In that view of the matter, the present bail application stands closed with a liberty to the petitioner to approach the learned court below seeking regular bail. In the event of such application is filed, the same be considered as per law.
