¶1Heard Mrs. H.M. Phukan, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. R.R. Kaushik, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State respondent.

¶2Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that by order dated

05.06.2024, the petitioner was allowed to go on interim anticipatory bail by this Court and in pursuant to the directions of this Court, the petitioner has appeared before the Page No.# 2/2 Investigating Officer and has co-operated in the Investigating Officer.

¶3On the other hand, Mr. Kaushik, learned Additional Public Prosecutor has produced the case diary of Maibong P.S. Case No. 21/2023 and has submitted that the petitioner has appeared before the Investigating Officer and his statement under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 has already been recorded.

¶4Considering the fact that the petitioner has co-operated in the investigation, the interim anticipatory bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 05.06.2024 is hereby made absolute with conditions attached to the said order remaining intact.

¶5With the above observations, this anticipatory bail application is disposed of.
