Ali Hussain @ Aliful Islam and 2 Ors v. The State of Assam

ORDER Date : 05.01.2024 Heard Mr. S. Das, learned counsel for the petitioner. Mr. K. K. Das, learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that though the case diary was called for, however, in the meanwhile, charge-sheet has been laid bearing C.S. No. 259/2023 dated 30.06.2023. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner was allowed to go on interim anticipatory bail by this Court by order dated 11.07.2023 and in pursuant to the directions of this Court, the petitioner has appeared before the Investigating Officer and has cooperated in the investigation. In view of the above observation, the interim bail granted to the petitioner by this Court by order dated 11.07.2023 is hereby made absolute with a direction that the petitioner shall continue to cooperate in the investigation and shall appear before the Investigating Officer as and when so required by the Investigating Officer for the sake of fair completion of the investigation.
