ORDER Date : 24 .07. 2024 Heard Mr. A.A. Dewan, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. KK Parasar, learned Addl. P.P. appearing on behalf of the State respondent No. 1 and Mr. A.K. Azad, learned counsel appearing for the informant. It is submitted by Mr. Parasar, learned Addl. PP that charge sheet has already been submitted against the petitioner vide C.S. 22/2024, dated 09.07.2024 in connection with Mererchar P.S. Case No. 25/2024. He further submits that as the charge sheet has already been submitted, it would be appropriate to direct the petitioner to appear before the learned trial court with an appropriate application, seeking relief. On the other hand, Mr. Dewan, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner was arrested on 19.05.2024 and since then he has been detaining in judicial custody and considering the period of detention, his bail prayer may be considered. Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the parties and as the charge sheet has been filed against the petitioner, the petitioner is hereby asked to appear before the trial court with an appropriate bail application for bail and in the event of filing such bail application, the same shall be considered in accordance with law on the ground of period of detention.
