19.06.2024 Heard Mr. Y. Ali, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. S. Baruah, learned Government Advocate for the respondent. The learned Government Advocate has placed before the Court a copy of the communication received from the Inspector, Officer In-Charge, Boko Police Station, Kamrup (Assam), wherein it is mentioned that the copy of the order dated 08.12.2023 passed in CR/49/2023 by the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Boko which was sent to the Boko Police Station was misplaced for some time. After through search, the copy was found on 18.06.2024 and the case has been registered on the basis of the order of the Court of JMFC, Boko and it is registered as Boko P.S. Case No. 275/2024 under Sections 120(B)/420/468/471/506 of the IPC. The Officer who has been entrusted to investigate is also mentioned in the said communication. The learned counsel for the petitioner upon being apprised in Court of the instructions received by the Government Advocate submits that he has no further grievance to redress the present writ petition. Accordingly, taking into consideration the submissions made, the writ petition stands disposed of as the grievance of the writ petitioner has been redressed. Page No.# 5/5 The respondents are directed to expeditiously conduct the investigation and carry the investigation to its logical end and file necessary report. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of in terms of the above.
