ORDER
21.06.2024 Heard Mr. B. Bhattacharyya, learned counsel for the applicant and also heard Mr. P.S. Lahkar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam, appearing for the State respondent. Page No.# 2/2 This interlocutory application is preferred by the applicant, namely, Kartik Hazarika, for correction of clerical error that crept in the order dated 23.08.2023 passed by this Court in AB No.2712/2023. Mr. Bhattacharyya, learned counsel for the applicant submits that in the order dated
23.08.2023 in paragraph 8, the words "interim pre-arrest bail" were inserted and in fact, it ought to have been "pre-arrest bail" and accordingly, Mr. Bhattacharyya contended that the clerical error that crept in the order dated 23.08.2023 may be corrected by deleting the word "interim", in paragraph 8 of the said order. Mr. Lahkar, learned Additional P.P. submits that he has no objection in making necessary correction in the order dated 23.08.2023, in AB No.2712/2023. Having heard the submission of learned Advocates of both sides and also considering the facts and circumstances on the record, it is provided that henceforth, in the order dated 23.08.2023, passed in AB No.2712/2023 at paragraph 8, the "interim pre-arrest bail" shall be read as "pre-arrest bail" for all purposes. In terms of above, this I.A. stands disposed of. Comparing Assistant Sd/- Robin Phukan JUDGE
