Mr. N. Sarkar, learned counsel for the petitioner is present along with Mr. K. Gogoi, learned CGC for all the respondents. The matter pertains to allotment of contract work pursuant to the tender notice dated 11.02.2022. During the proceedings of this case, the contract work had been allotted to some other contractor, who has not been impleaded in the case. On 22.07.2024, Mr. K. Gogoi had stated that he would give a status report on the contract/construction work pursuant to the tender notice. He has submitted letter dated 26.07.2024 issued by the respondents today, which states that the contract work has been completed. The letter dated 26.07.2024 is made a part of the record and marked as Annexure-X. In view of the contract work having been completed, the writ petition has become infructuous.
